Many of you who watched the Wild Thornberrys "Origin of Donnie" movie will be sad to know that what the cartoon said was actually true: Orangutan mothers are being killed so that their babies can be sold as pets. Not only that, but most of their habitats are being destroyed by illegal logging companies. These two factors are rapidly decreasing the population of orangutans in the wild.
